About Benicia Little League
Established in 1958, Benicia Little League (BLL) is a youth baseball program for children ages 5 through 18. The League operates under a charter granted annually by Little League. More than 100 adult volunteers create an enjoyable sporting and learning experience for over 450 Little League players residing in Benicia, California. The League is separated into varying levels of play so that children participate with peers who are of the same age group and skill level.Little League has three structural components, each dependent upon the other and each vital to the success of the program.
1. Little League Baseball, Incorporated, the administrative component
2. The District, the liaison between various Regional Headquarters of Little League Baseball and the local leagues (BLL is a part of California District 53)
3. Your local league (BLL), furnishing facilities, resources and volunteer services to provide a quality program for children
California District 53 includes American Canyon, Benicia, Calistoga, Cordelia, East Vallejo, Fairfield Atlantic, Fairfield Pacific, Middletown Cobb, Napa, North Vallejo, Sonoma Valley, St. Helena, Suisun American, Vallejo, Valley of the Moon, and Yountville Little Leagues.
